Baccarat Game Rules
Baccarat is a classic card game involving two hands: Player and Banker. The game uses 8 standard decks of cards without jokers. The main objective of the game is for the players to predict whether the Player or Banker hand will achieve a score closest to 9.
Gameplay
At the start of a new shoe, the facilitator draws and reveals a card to set the number of “burn” cards based on the drawn card’s face value, with 10 or face cards resulting in 10 cards burned.
During each round, the first 4 cards are distributed to the hands in the sequence: Player-Banker-Player-Banker. Depending on the score of each hand from its initial 2 cards, one or more hands may receive a third card. Refer to the section “Third Card Rules” below.
Each card is assigned a point value as follows:
- Aces count as 1 point.
- Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value.
- Tens and face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are worth 0 points.
The score of a hand at any given moment is computed by summing the points of the individual cards, and dropping the leftmost digit if the total is greater than 9. For instance, if Banker has an “8” and a “9”, the total is 17 and the score becomes 7.
After all the cards are dealt, the final scores of the two hands are compared and the hand with the higher score receives the reward. When both hands have the same score, the result is a Draw and all plays on Player and Banker result in Coin Returned.
Whenever the “cut” card is drawn, it signals the final round of that shoe. After the final round, the decks are reshuffled and a new shoe will be used for the next round.
Third Card Rules
If either the Player or Banker hand has a score of 8 or 9 points from its initial 2 cards, the hand is referred to as a “natural”. No further cards will be distributed and both hands will stand.
Rules for Player
- The Player hand will receive a third card on a score of 5 or less from the initial 2 cards.
- The Player hand will stand on a score of 6 or 7 from the initial 2 cards.
Rules for Banker
If the Player hand stands with a score of 6 or 7 points from its initial 2 cards, the Banker hand will receive a third card on a score of 5 or less from its initial 2 cards.
If the Player hand has received a third card, the Banker hand will either stand or receive a third card according to the following table:

Playing Modes
The game offers 2 playing modes: Traditional “Baccarat” and “No Commission Baccarat”. Players can switch playing mode with the use of an in-game toggle button.
The game rules for both playing modes are identical, with the only difference in the reward for the Banker option type. Refer to the section “Option Types and Rewards” below for further details.

*Max Round Availability – The option type becomes unavailable after the specified number of rounds in the shoe.
Disconnection Policy
If a player is disconnected from a game round, the round will continue until completion. All confirmed plays remain valid and will be settled as the round concludes. The player can review the play details in the “Play Record”.
Error Handling
In the event of an unexpected issue in the game, system or procedure, the game round will be temporarily paused while the facilitator informs the supervisor. If the issue can be resolved quickly, the round will resume and continue as usual. If an immediate resolution is not possible, the round will be cancelled, and all plays will be returned.
Note: In the Squeeze Baccarat variation (if offered), gameplay will proceed as usual in the event of an accidental early card reveal, provided that the final game result remains unaffected.
Supplementary
The “Limit” values for Player and Banker refer to the maximum difference allowed between their respective play values. In other words, a play on Player will adjust and increase the Banker player limit by the same amount, and vice versa.
The maximum RTP of the game is 98.94%.
